With the Ambassador Drum, (2002-2003) a partnership with Association Meninos do Morumbi and Instituto Credicard, 20 adolescents have developed their artistic abilities using the percussion instrument to create autonomy and ability in the field of technician-musical, beyond the ability of work in team, to solve conflicts, to exercise the leadership and to extend its social-cultural repertoire. Another abilities contemplated were the planning, execution and evaluation of works. The young developed the knowledge of its social reality and have made possible forms of performance in these communities.

In a first stage, these boys participated in theoretical and practical interactive lessons, musical workshops, photography lessons and computer science, beyond group experiences, workshops, seminaries, field works and external exits. In this way they participated at different activities, some specific of this project and other pertaining to the institution that already is part of the institutional pedagogical proposal. The young had started to act as multiplying with focus in the musical field aiming at the elaboration of collective projects of work for performance in the community through the accomplishment of musical workshops.

They had developed musical workshops in the community of Paraisópolis, Jardim Jaqueline and in the POF (Rank of Familiar Orientation of the College Porto Seguro), where they taught children and young from 7 to 17 years old, the rhythms played by the artistic group Meninos do Morumbi.

The project had as objective to create contexts of learning by means of the artistic-cultural activity of percussion, making possible the human and social development of the young and a pro-active performance in the contexts to which it belongs.
